Miss Rabbit’s Day off!

News Story

We spoke to the very busy Miss Rabbit, just before she visited Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre with, Peppa Pig’s Best Day Ever!

This 2019-2020 tour also celebrates 10 years of Peppa Pig Live, with the much loved and very busy Miss Rabbit taking time out of her busy schedule to return to the stage after 7 years.

Hello Miss Rabbit, thank you very much for taking the time to speak to us – we know how busy you are! Are you looking forward to joining Peppa for her Best Day Ever?

“Yes, of courrrrrse! It’s going to be one big adventure, and I’m so pleased that I can join them all. I have just been so busy I didn’t think I would be able to find the time. Although I must admit, I do love being busy! There’s nothing better than travelling around and exploring new places. I hope there’s going to be lots of driving, and I’ll get to drive everyone in the bus! I can’t wait.”

Who else will be joining you?

“Well, Peppa and George will of course be there with Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Mr. Bull, Suzy Sheep and Gerald Giraffe are coming along as well.”

Do you know what Peppa’s Best Day Ever is going to include?

“No, I have no idea! I hope we get to visit loads of interesting places… maybe a castle or a cave or even a trip to the theatre.”

We know you have so many different jobs including nursing, library assistant, recycling centre operator, face painter, supermarket cashier, helicopter pilot and many many more… but have you ever worked in a theatre?

“No I haven’t, but one of my jobs is selling ice cream, so I could definitely do that at the theatre in the interval. I do love ice cream! There are so many other things I would love to try though, like selling tickets at the box office… being an usher… manning the lighting rig and of course acting and directing!”

If you were performing in a theatre and had to share a dressing room with someone, who would it be and why?

“That’s a hard one as I love everyone, but if I had to choose it would probably have to be Gerald Giraffe. It’s always handy to share a room with someone who can help me reach things. Gerald is always lovely and never minds being asked!”
