The Croydon Schools’ Music Association are delighted to be back at Fairfield Halls for their annual Festival of Music on the 20th and 21st June. These concerts involve around 800 children, aged between six and eighteen, from Croydon schools, including special schools. The children will perform an exciting wide range of music and styles.
The performance on Monday 20th June will include the Infant Festival Choir with their conductor Alma Burcombe with a programme of songs reflecting environmental issues as well as music for the Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations.
The concert on Tuesday 21st June will include the Junior Festival Choir of over 400 voices, with their conductor Claire Slade. The children will sing a variety of songs celebrating music from The Queen’s reign as well as music to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.
We will raise the roof! On both nights the programme will also include ensemble items from the Croydon Music and Arts students.
