Pavilion Ballroom, Bournemouth
Wrestling made an explosive return to ITV with Saturday afternoon action under a new 'World of Sport' banner and Adam Maxted and Gabriel Kidd, two of the exciting top challengers to emerge, will be on view when All Star Promotions return to Bournemouth's Pavilion Ballroom for Sunday afternoon action!
Belfast-born Maxted made a wrestling debut in his native Northern Ireland facing a number of visiting American stars before finding fresh fame in ITV2's popular ‘Love Island’ series. The muscular 25 year-old returned to wrestling as if he had never been away with All Star one of the first organisations to spot his ability and fan appeal, now putting him to the test in a Pavilion matching against Finland's self-styled 'Nasty Boy' Vitto Puro.
Twenty-one year-old Nottingham discovery Kidd faced the enormous 30 stones Crater in one of his 'WOS' matches but will be out to impress Bournemouth fans when facing a lighter rival in the shape of ambitious and energetic Sean Custom recently arrived from Sydney, Australia, for a first taste of European action.
The Pavilion bill, starting at 3pm, also brings a tag team showdown including four of Britain's best heavyweight division stars with Superslam champion Oliver Grey from Exeter, Devon, lining up alongside Wirral-based favourite Dean Allmark, head coach of All Star's highly-rated Wrestling School, to take on the vastly experienced South London-born James Mason and West Country high flier Charlie Garrett.
